Dean Andrews is not only a great drummer, he is also an incredible person that would be so great for this business. He has been playing since the age of eight and has had lessons from some of the very best Orlando has to offer. As you will see and hear as we add audio & video from the "Some other life" CD. As well as video recorded shows. His style is unique which is so rare for someone so young. Keep an ear open for Dean and remember the name! If you forget, I'll remind you. He is on his way and I feel he will be on top very soon.

A Brief History

 

At the age of 8, Dean began his musical journey. Dean explored and mastered a wide variety of drumming styles. Rock, Pop, Latin, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Electronica, Rudimental and Fusion are just a few examples of the range and vast knowledge Dean has.

Not long after relocating from New Mexico to Orlando, Florida. Dean joined rock band Jennyanderson. While playing a vital role in the construction of Jennyanderson's unique look and sound, it was Dean's prolific stage show that helped propel the bands highly acclaimed status. Jennyanderson was not only a band with a great sound, but a band with a drummer known to display one of the most intense stage shows Orlando had seen in quite a while. Dean had the privilege to tour with Jennyanderson, record in Orlando and Los Angeles, and work with some of the leading percussionists in the world, such as Luis Conti.

Wanting more, Dean joined the Orland rock band Some Other Life, (www.someotherlife.com) in late 2001. Some Other Life is managed by Alvers Management (www.amprock.com)., which also manages MCA recording artist Familiar 48 and Electra artist VonRa. Some Other Life is being touted as the hottest unsigned act in the nation, and there is no question a big reason for that is Dean's ability on the drums. Not only did Some Other Life recently open up for CREED, but they played a nearly sold out crowd at CBGB's (7:30 show!). They are also playing to sold out crowds at venues such as Hard Rock Live in Orlando, on a regular basis, and recently won another Battle of the Bands (www.alternativeaddiction.com).

Dean consistently wow's the crowd with his ability to play the drums while standing, and strike with authority giving the crowd a stage show that is not only unique, but incredible. One industry executive in New York recently said, "Dean will be the next Tommy Lee."

Dean has become a highly visible drummer, with his undeniable passion for playing the drums, and his relentless pursuit of perfection. He will become a superstar, but a legend in the drumming world.
